My Day
Today was an interesting day… I guess you could say that it didn’t start off too good; I think I was still in a bad mood from the day before, which was just “one of those days.” All of my classes, with the exception of Portuguese, were really dull; nothing unusual there… In Portuguese me and three other guys gave our “design a house” presentation. Like the last presentation, my group was the least prepared; but I think that was good this time because we still knew what we were doing, thus making it appear like we were naturals at it…I think our professor was impressed. When my classes were finished at 3:00 I decided to go on a little bike ride to blow off some steam; which I was desperately in need of… I think that caused my day to take a turn for the better. A quick twenty-five miles and a shower later I ate dinner with a friend from my Moore-hill days; which was really nice. I wish I had the chance to hang out with those guys and gals more often…oh well… Surprisingly, it was studying this evening that turned out to be the best part of my day. I started off at the UGL, but the chair was too comfortable and anthropology was too boring. Once my head starting falling to the side I decided I needed something different…so I headed to Metro for some caffeine and a more upbeat atmosphere. In between the flirtatious looks and casual conversations about the bizarre music with the “interesting” girls I was seemingly surrounded by, I actually got some work done. I guess you could say that all in all it was a successful day; exercise, sunshine, fresh-air, a sense of accomplishment, and interaction with the opposite sex…what more do you need?
