Return to Alaska
A few Texas 4000 teammates and I returned to Glennallen, Alaska in late January to take care of some unfinished business. We were in the cold cold state for five days, with a lot of traveling in between Glennallen and Anchorage. The above picture is in Glennallen, looking towards the big mountain that boarders the town. The morning this was taken, it was twenty below zero outside. Thank goodness I had my incredibly warm down parka, or I would have been miserable!  A few more photos from this trip can be found on my flickr page, if you’d like to see more snow.

Friday!!

It’s a happy Friday for me. I’m sitting at work, doing absolutely nothing (with the exception of writing this post), watching the absolutely beautiful sunshine outside my office window. I decided to take the day off today from my quasi-required obligations – aka classes this morning, and since I practically have the day off when I’m at work anyways, the trend is continuing nicely. Everyone needs a three day weekend every once in a while. Read the rest of this entry
